ABOUT ME

Hello There!

My name is Olga Akbarova and I'm a creative designer and illustrator based in San Jose, California. 

As a kid, I adored colors and spent endless hours painting my own little worlds. Though I studied fashion design, my heart always belonged to illustration. Since diving into freelancing in 2018, I've been busy creating greeting cards, patterns, puzzles, and fabric collections. While I mostly work on my iPad these days, I still love adding hand-painted watercolor touches. Inspired by California's beauty, cozy coffee shops, and vintage vibes, I aim to spread joy and whimsy through my art.

In addition to my painting projects, I also enjoy creating small-batch ceramics that reflect the same playful spirit and attention to detail as my illustrations.

I sell my artwork in my Etsy store, and some of my images are also available to license and commission for publication, surface pattern and more.

My clients include Design House Greetings, Galison/ Mudpuppy, Garden Design Magazine, Diamond Art Club, P&B Textiles, True South Puzzle Co. and many more.
