ABOUT ME

Hello There!

My name is Olga Akbarova and I'm a creative designer and illustrator based in San Jose, California. 

As a kid, I spent endless hours painting my own little worlds, captivated by colors and imagination. Though I trained as a fashion designer, my true passion has always been illustration. Since starting my freelance journey in 2018, I’ve created greeting cards, fabric collections, puzzles, and more. I love blending hand-painted touches with digital techniques to craft detailed, joyful art inspired by nature, cozy moments, and vintage charm.

Seeing my illustrations come to life on store shelves brings me endless joy, and I’m passionate about creating art for licensing. When I’m not illustrating, I enjoy working on small-batch ceramics, where I bring the same playful attention to detail to each piece.

I sell my artwork in my Etsy store, and some of my images are also available to license and commission for publication, surface pattern and more.

My clients include Design House Greetings, Galison/ Mudpuppy, Garden Design Magazine, Diamond Art Club, P&B Textiles, True South Puzzle Co. and many more.
